The LIIC supports veterans and their families through United Way’s Mission United by providing services and resources in career training, employment assistance and emergency financial aid to veterans and their families. The need for these services is particularly significant on Long Island as there are more than 80,000 veterans living in our communities.
The LIIC created personal care kits for veterans at the VA in Northport.
